White Chest on Stand

The high gloss finish doesn't really show up here. The pulls were a close-out. I think they should have been a little longer.

Oval Console with Floral Designs

I adapted the design on this piece from a book on Swedish interiors and furniture. I'd give proper attribution to the book if it wasn't packed away. I don't think a lot of this kind of painting is in my future but I had a lot of fun doing it.

Two Tone Red Nightstand

Bright orange red with a deep red. Toned down with a generous amount of dark umber glaze. What isn't visible is that the two colors also have different sheens.

Faux Bamboo Desk

A nice little pretend bamboo design on the trim. The body has a strie glaze. Strie is a fancy word for striated, which is another fancy word.

Optical Illusion

There are three drawers on this dresser and the design isn't three dimensional. All done with four shades of paint. The lines forming the triangles are incised though.

Green Chest of Drawers

Unfortunately, they don't make these anymore but the finish can be easily adapted to other pieces of furniture. Done with a combination of 4 dry brushed layers with an umber glaze rubbed on at the end.
