Taupe Five Drawer Chest

 This piece was a family piece inherited by a client of the designer who brought it to me.

A pretty typical chest circa 1940 that was a dark wood finish. I applied a quickly brushed base coat so that the original finish showed through.

Then applied lining in various colors then a combed glaze and more lining.

Pink Nightstand with White Flowers

This 2 drawer nightstand is only about 26 inches high.  The white flowers were hand drawn and hand painted but stenciling would work just as well on a piece like this.  

Silver Ginkgo Leaf Side Table

 It doesn't really show very well but the table is painted with a silver metallic paint called Chromatone. It covers much better than Ralph Lauren)

I made some ginkgo leaf stencils and used off white and dark brownish gray colors

White Mirrored Chest

This white chest was a custom request. The mirror drawer fronts were inserted from the underside of the drawer. I did have to re-drill the holes in the mirror for the knobs. Do not try that at home. Top and feet are also mirrored.
