Console with Hand Painted Fruit


A small console with hand painted fruit motifs. There is a pale strie glaze on the body with a scumbled glaze in the panels.
 A closer look at the cherries.
If the fruit motifs look familiar, I copied closely from Redoute's Favorite Flowers

    Thanks Chrissie, I actually painted the piece a few years ago with a blue color for the body and red trim on the panels. I decided to repaint it in a more neutral color.

    Good morning! I found you via Twitter and had to come and see all your sensational work! Just gorgeous. I appreciate more because I'm not a furniture painter - something about painting on wood, not sure why.
    But I love and admire people who do. I'm not sure if you'd be interested, but I host a blog party each weekend for paint projects. A lot of craft items, but it's still fun to see what people link up.
