Black Crackle Pedestal Table

 A custom pedestal table with a black over gold crackle finish...tricky.
Did the crackle 3 times before I got what I wanted.
Leaf veining secret - Fine line Sharpie marker.

    I would like to know what paint you used. I want to do this to a gold leaf finish on an old mirror.

      Chris, I used Chromatone gold latex as the base color with Mclosky weathered crackle medium and then Benjamin Moore black latex. Not sure how the crackle and latex would work on a gold leaf mirror because it most likely has an oil based varnish.
